It’s a good time to be alive. Uberman Dirk Nowitzki and the Dallas Mavericks have just won their first, much deserved championship and we have a new, extended look at Cowboys & Aliens. I’m not sure what one has to do with the other, but as someone who’s spent the past 12 years watching and rooting for the Mavericks religiously, I had to work that into at least one post.
Here’s how it fits. This trailer, which debuted earlier this weekend during the mostly ignored Spike Guy’s Choice Awards, is nearly as good as Dirk Nowitzki’s jumpshot. Ok that’s crazy, nothing’s that good. But it’s probably almost as good as Jason Terry’s. Non-sports fans, none of this means anything to you. So just watch the trailer, which contains some new Cowboys & Aliens footage.
