Subscribe To The Walking Dead's Jon Bernthal Joins Snitch Updates
One of the most interesting and talked about subjects with regards to the second season of AMC’s The Walking Dead is what’s going on with Shane. Jon Bernthal’s character took a dark and interesting turn a couple episodes back. While we don’t quite know where this is going for his character, things are a bit clearer for Jon Bernthal’s career. The actor has been cast alongside Susan Sarandon and Dwayne Johnson in the upcoming Ric Roman Waugh directed Snitch.

Summit’s Snitch is described as an action-drama, which follows Dwayne Johnson’s character as a construction company owner who tries to get his son’s prison sentence shortened by becoming a DEA snitch. According to Deadline, Bernthal’s character is an ex-con laborer working at the construction company who helps connect his boss to an underground drug dealer. From Deadline’s use of the word “force,” it doesn’t sound like Bernthal’s character’s all that eager to get involved in the situation.

Prior to what can probably be considered his breakthrough role on The Walking Dead Bernthal appeared on HBO’s The Pacific, ABC’s short-lived Eastwick, and he was Al Capone in Night At the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian.

Snitch is set to start filming early next month in Louisiana.
