The Step Up franchise may not be noted for having the freshest plot points, but the series justifies this with entertaining and intricate dance scenes meant to amuse and occasionally wow audiences. The newest franchise flick is set in Miami, and Step Up Revolution, will heat things up on 3D Blu-ray, Blu-ray and DVD on November 27, and to celebrate, we’ve got a bonus clip highlighting some of the dance moves for you.

In the “Chris Scott” clip, various cast and crew members involved with production take a look at Scott, the choreographer, who has a background in tap music and a unique sense of style and rhythm. The clip’s more than a little grainy, but it should give fans some idea of what they will be getting if they choose to purchase the film, and, if worse comes to worse, it shows the level of expertise and hard work that has to be put into a dance routine. I was especially impressed by a couple of the dancers doing some stunt moves by jumping down from the second story to the first (mats included, don’t fret).

The “Chris Scott” clip is from a larger featurette included with the set. Both Blu-ray and DVD copies of the film will come with a slew of bonus features, including deleted scenes, music videos, a “flash mob index,” several behind-the-scenes featurettes, and audio commentary. If you do enjoy the franchise or did like the flick, this love and dance tale may be one to check out.
