The Kardashian clan is dashing the hopes of fans everywhere today. As it was recently revealed, Khloe Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, and Kim Kardashian West are calling it quits on their boutique chain Dash after nearly 12 years in business. The celebrity sisters revealed the reason they're closing up shop is because they're all focused on their own brands, as well as motherhood. They simply don't have as much time to concentrate on the business.
TMZ got the scoop. Dash stores, which primarily sell the Kardashians' clothing and accessory lines, will close their doors soon in Miami and L.A. This news comes after they shut down their New York City location in December 2016. On her app, Kim Kardashian West explained the decision to call it a day for Dash. She also took a moment to thank the employees who provided the Kardashians' products to customers on a daily basis this past decade.
We've loved running DASH, but in the last few years we've all grown so much individually. We've been busy running our own brands, as well as being moms and balancing work with our families. We know in our hearts that it's time to move on... We have to give a special thanks to the DASH employees and all of the incredible fans and customers who have supported us throughout the years!
Viewers of Keeping Up with the Kardashians are likely familiar with the chain store. In an episode of the popular reality TV series, the sisters blamed the closing of the NYC branch on New York City's extremely high rents. Apparently, even the Kardashians can't compete with those steep prices. Who can blame them? Alas, the boutique chain was popular enough to garner its own spin-off series, Dash Dolls, but it only lasted one season on E!
Even with the death of Dash, the Kardashians have plenty of other things on their mind at the moment. Most recently, Khloe Kardashian recently gave birth to her first child, a girl named True Thompson. The newborn baby arrived in Cleveland, OH just last week, and Khloe is starting to provide her fans and followers with some updates on the newest member of the Kardashian/Jenner clan. Khloe also wrote a tribute to her celebrity sisters, including Kylie Jenner, on her app where she called them the "ultimate mom mentors." While she admits that she's stubborn to take advice, even from her family, Khloe is learning about motherhood through their guidance, as well as through the loving support of her own mother, Kris Jenner.
The newest baby arrival, however, was partially overshadowed by the recent cheating controversy surrounding Tristan Thompson, Khloe's NBA boyfriend and True Thompson's father. In any case, it's never a dull day in the busy lives of the Kardashians. We'll keep you posted on more updates.
