Anne Hathaway’s and her fiancé Adam Schulman have always been pretty quiet about the details of their love life. It was the paparazzi, not the celebrity herself, that initially caught her with a ring on her finger and broke the news of her engagement. If you want to know about any of her wedding plans, she’s staying pretty mum. Luckily, designer Valentino Garavani is making it easy for us, at least when it comes to the wedding gown design.

Late Thursday night, at the New York City Ballet Fall Gala, Garavani confirmed he was making the famous celebrity’s dress for her big day. The news isn’t too much of a shocker; in the past, Hathaway has favored Valentino designs on numerous occasions, including favoring one of the designer’s looks during her tenure hosting the 2011 Oscars. Way back in December, the designer even told People he considered Hathaway a friend and would be up to the task.

Hathaway and Schulman were ousted as engaged by Hathaway’s representative way back in Novemberof 2011, and wedding plans have been slow going ever since. It’s always nice to get one of the biggest details out of the way, and having Valentino on board probably feels like a huge win.

Pop Blend would like to wish the actress the best of luck as the rest of the wedding details begin falling into place and she and her fiancé move closer to the big day.
