Over the past few decades, no haircut has been more talked about or more discussed than The Rachel. Boasting its own Wikipedia Page, the hairdo was worn by actress Jennifer Aniston during the first two seasons of Friends, and thanks to the popularity of the show and the visually appealing quality of the bouncy, square-layered style, it was almost immediately copied by an incredible number of women in the United States, Great Britain and Canada. If its creator is to be believed, however, the style was actually conceived while he was high.

Speaking to Women’s Wear Daily in a larger piece about Aniston’s hair, Chris McMillan admitted he was stoned when he gave the famous haircut.
”I’m 14 years sober, so I feel safe enough to say that.”

It’s hard to believe the juicy piece of information has never come out before, but considering Aniston’s new movie, We’re The Millers, is about trying to smuggle a shipment of pot into the United States, it’s oddly fitting that McMillan waited this long to speak on the record. The actress has been open in the past about how much she disliked sporting the haircut. Since it attracted a ton of attention during a time when she wasn’t quite as famous, something tells me she wouldn’t go back and change anything.

As for McMillan, Pop Blend wishes him nothing but the best moving forward with his sobriety. He may have created something memorable while under the influence, but no doubt he’s made a lot more wonderful memories while in possession of all his mental faculties.
