Searching the Internet to try and find naked pictures of Emma Watson is an understandable pursuit, but it’s one fraught with extreme danger, at least for your computer. It turns out the Harry Potter actress is being used as a malevolent force on the Internet to transmit malware and viruses.
Earlier this week, McAfee published its annual survey of the celebrity searches most likely to lead to harmful websites, and Watson outperformed all of her competitors. An astounding one out of every eight websites claiming to hold information about the actress actually contain detrimental software. Getting more specific and asking for nude pictures of the actress only makes the situation worse. Apparently, the evil forces out there think users will be so desperate to see her boobs that they’ll gleefully navigate through shady websites. In many cases, they’re probably right.
According to The Huffington Post, of the top twenty, Jimmy Kimmel was the only dude. You can take a look at the top five below…
1. Emma Watson
2. Jessica Biel
3. Eva Mendes
4. Selena Gomez
5. Halle Berry
The McAfee list tends to have a lot of turnover every year. You would think these risky celebs would stay relatively stable, but last year’s winner, Heidi Klum, didn’t even make the top ten this time around. That’s why the security firm always recommends caution when visiting websites you’ve never been to before.
