Warning! The following contains spoilers for the latest episode of Jersey Shore Family Vacation. Read at your own risk!
Ronnie Ortiz-Magro has made a mistake, and somehow, just keeps digging himself in deeper. Ronnie doubled down on his claim that nothing happened in that bathroom with that french girl (French Fries) in the previous episode, and said that the situation looked way worse than it was due to a feature in the house he and no one else knew existed. Ronnie explained to his housemates and the Jersey Shore Family Vacation audience what really happened that night in a truly mystifying moment that is sure to go down in the show's history:
I did not close the door, and you know what? I didn't know the door had an automatic fucking closer out of nowhere. So the fucking door shut so it looked worse than it really was. I did not shut the door.
Ronnie explained what went down to Vinny, Pauly D, and Mike to set the record straight, completely oblivious to the fact that all his Jersey Shore Family Vacation housemates' jaws were practically on the floor as they listened. Vinny was the first to call out Ronnie on his explanation, and he wasn't even in the room to witness what really happened like Mike and Pauly D! The guys tried to convince Ronnie to be real with his baby mama and come clean about what he did, but once Ortiz-Magro realized his girlfriend had no knowledge of what happened, he was committed to keeping her and America in the dark.
Unfortunately for Ronnie, Jersey Shore Family Vacation had its cameras rolling for the full moment. Not long after Ronnie told his version of the story, the show recapped to the previously shown night in question and showed Ronnie very clearly closing the bathroom door to ensure he and French Fries got a little privacy. They also included a little slurpy audio from the two's mics while they were in there, which really drove home what was going down. The roasting didn't end there either, as the show's official Twitter account absolutely raked Ronnie over the coals after letting him try to spin a story no one was believing:
The whole episode ended with Ronnie's girlfriend entering the lion's den as she arrived on the set of Jersey Shore Family Vacation to spend a couple days with the cast. Keep in mind, Ronnie has still not told her anything about French Fries, or what happened that night. Additionally, he's instructed everyone he wants to keep it under wraps until after they're done with filming, then he will tell her. Given his castmates' track records of keeping secrets under wraps, it's looking like an all-out likelihood Ronnie's girlfriend Jen will not leave this house without finding out what went down. Considering the two's current relationship status, we gotta assume she found out eventually, right?
