Full Look At Nora West-Allen In New Flash Season 5 Images

The Flash kicks off Season 5 with multiple speedsters, and Barry and Iris' future daughter Nora is at the center of what seems to be a very complicated situation. Nora will bond with her parents in the upcoming episodes, but also appears to be putting her speedster skills to use to aid her father in upcoming battles as well. Some new images promoting the season have appeared released and show Nora suited up with family and running alongside Barry in a full-look of what her costume will look like in Season 5:

Nora West-Allen is rocking that purple lightning we saw occasionally in The Flash Season 4, and is wearing what looks to be a jacket similar to the one she was wearing in the season finale. The outfit as a whole is very different than Barry's Flash outfit, although Nora does have some yellow trim on the boots that might be a nod to her father's costume. Really the only surprising thing is the lack of cover her mask provides to her face. In all fairness, it's not like anyone from the past is going to recognize her.

Even with her mask on, it's hard not to see the resemblance between young Nora and her mother Iris West. The front view of the outfit was featured in an additional image for Season 5, which referenced the West-Allen family affair that's going to be going down in the upcoming seasons:

The front view of Nora's costume gives fans a great look at the "XS" logo, and it's a dead ringer for the logo in DC Comics even if it is slightly smaller than it has been on classical outfits. Overall, the suit is distinctly different than all versions shown in the comics, although definitely in line with the looks of Arrow-verse costumes in general. Nora's choice to wear her hair down seems like a problem, as one would imagine a helmet or even a trademark Jesse Quick ponytail would make hair maintenance less of a mess following long runs.

That said, Nora's a speedster, so maybe she sacrifices an extra half second at the end of each run to touch up her hair and keep it looking slick for heroes and villains alike. Also, obviously this picture is just for promotional purposes, but the fact that Nora would dress in full hero garb for a regular family photo is the type of subtle comedy The Flash needs more of.

The Flash kicks off Season 5 on The CW Tuesday, October 9 at 8:00 p.m. ET. Stick with CinemaBlend for updates regarding all Arrow-verse shows and the fall premiere lineup.
