Subscribe To Amazing Race Host Sets Sail With New Reality Show Updates
The Velux 5 Oceans race only takes place once every four years and word is, when the sailing race starts up this October in France, it’s going to be filmed for a reality show. What’s more, Amazing Race host Phil Keoghan is set to Captain the series.

TV Guide reported the news, stating that Keoghan, who serves as host for CBS’ The Amazing Race is set to serve as producer and host of the sailing reality series. As Keoghan certainly has enough experience with a reality show that follows contestants as they race around the world, I think he’s probably the right man to handle this job.

As for the show, according to what TV Guide posted, the Velux 5 Oceans race covers 30,000 miles and is the longest-running round-the-world yacht race. This year, the race will start in France on October 17th. Racers will travel to South Africa, New Zealand, Brazil and the U.S.

Sounds like it could be a winner.
