Croc Hunter's Legacy Lives On

According to IMDB.com, Bindi Irwin, the daughter of the late Crocodile Hunter, is continuing with plans for her television show, “Bindi, The Jungle Girl”. She reportedly wants to continue her father’s message of wildlife conservation and to show the world that animals aren’t scary and dangerous. Fans may remember that her father, Steve Irwin, was killed in a freak accident with a stingray while filming a segment for her show.

Bindi Sue has appeared in her father’s shows, ‘The Crocodile Hunter’ and ‘The Crocodile Hunter Diaries’, as well as his 2002 feature film, Crocodile Hunter:Collision Course and the hit Australian children’s show, ‘The Wiggles’. She was the most eloquent and lucid family member to speak at Steve Irwin’s public tribute, and has clearly inherited her dad’s camera presence and love of wildlife. The 26 part documentary is set to begin in January, 2007, and will feature Steve Irwin in clips filmed before his death.
