Mike & Molly may be renewed for another season over at CBS, but fans of the half-hour comedy missed out on the season finale just a few weeks ago. If you have wanted to catch the tornado-themed episode, the network has rescheduled the big finale for Thursday, May 30 at 8:30 p.m. ET.
Fans missed out on the finale earlier this month when the tornado-themed episode was set to air right around the time the tornadoes touched down in Oklahoma. Numerous individuals were killed or injured and devastation struck over many square miles and several states, also including Kansas, Illinois, and Iowa. Similar to when bomb-themed episodes were cancelled in the wake of the Boston Marathon bombings, CBS opted to pre-empt the Mike & Molly episode out of respect for the victims.
Stop reading, now, if you don’t want any spoilers about the finale. In the episode, Mike and Carl are stuck working a Renaissance Faire after Mike’s mom dumps their boss. Then, Mike and Molly will meet up in order to drop some big news on one another, which I’m guessing will tease the new season. Unfortunately, CBS has the program shelved until midseason next year, so sans this episode, we won’t be getting new content until 2014.
