These may be the best American Horror Story Season 2 promo videos yet. No, scratch that. These are the best videos yet, not only because they give us a good look at the characters, but also because both use a song that's already sort of unintentionally dark in all the right ways.

Previous teasers have featured a white-faced nun and other unnerving images all focused around the mental institution setting that's set to play the backdrop for American Horror Story: Asylum.. The latest teaser gives us a tour of the characters, some of which are arranged on beds and set in poses that might offer us clues as to what they're all about.

Chloe Sevigny's character is called "Shelly the Nymphomaniac," which explains her sultry pose. And we saw Adam Levine near the start of the trailer, and he had a camera (and what appeared to be a woman draped over him). We also got a glimpse of James Cromwell. He looked kind of creepy. But on AHS, creepy is a good thing!

Am I alone in associating the song "Que Sera, Sera" with Heathers? (How very.) This one uses the same song and lists off the cast…

This could even be the opening credits, though nothing in the caption on the AHS Facebook post says as much. Still, seems like a possibility, right?

The video also happens to include the premiere date! American Horror Story: Asylum premieres this October 17 at 10:00 p.m. ET on FX.
