Grid 2 Screenshots Brings On The Post Processing
Less than a handful of new screenshots have been released for the upcoming racing game, Grid 2. There's no specific theme to the new screenshots other than some heavy post processing effects, which gives the game that good 'ole fashioned DirectX 11 feel.
Grid 2 is a graphical beast and a follow up to Codemasters' previous outing which really pushed the limits of console graphics for the Xbox 360 and PS3...it was also nothing to scoff at on PC. The game's focus on arcade-style racing with a hint of simulation really helped separate it from the Need for Speed's arcade-focus as well as the heavy simulation effects from games like Gran Turismo 5.
Grid 2 looks to expand on what was established with the first game, and while I doubt that Grid 2 will look any better on consoles than the first game did, at least those of you who play the game on PC will experience some really snazzy graphics for Codemasters' racing title.
The game is set to release later this year for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. You can check out the new screenshots for the game below, courtesy of Gaming Everything. To learn more about Grid 2 you can visit the game's official website.
