Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance Gameplay Trailer Features Entire Boss Fight
An entire boss fight from start to finish is featured in the latest gameplay trailer for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance and all I'm going to say is that this game is one of the most over-the-top, badass, no-holds-barred hack-and-slash games I've ever laid eyes on and it looks drop-dead righteous.
German gaming site Pixel-Channel posted up some brand new gameplay footage of the upcoming game from Platinum Games, and man oh man does this game look great. Unlike a lot of other boss fights in games where you're doing some silly puzzle stuff or you're not actually fighting the boss but instead fighting some other kind of gimmick, here in GR: Revengeance Raiden goes head-to-head with a vicious AI controlled android with a wicked arsenal of vicious weapons. Check it out below.
Now that's how a boss fight should be: an all-out, balls or nothing showdown in a game of attrition. Those are the kind of boss fights that make you puff your chest and take a sigh of relief at the end while the blood in your hands cause your thumbs to throb. That's some serious core gaming right there.
If you're really digging the game you can pre-order it right now and gain access to the Grey Fox skin from the original Metal Gear Solid on the PSX. Otherwise you won't have to wait long to get in some playtime with Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance as the game is set for release in February, 2013 for North Americans on the Xbox 360 and PS3.
