Sly Collection PS Vita

The ESRB (via NeoGAF) has rated the Sly Collection for PlayStation Vita. This rating suggests that the PS3 bundle of Sly Cooper games will be released on the handheld sometime this year.

The Sly Collection first debuted on the PS3 in fall 2010. The compilation contains updated versions of Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus, Sly 2: Band of Thieves, and Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves. All three have been refitted with HD visuals and 3D support.

Developer Sanzaru Games also provided four new minigames, each for a different character. They were playable on the PS3 with Move. Maybe they'll be reworked to support the touchscreens of the Vita.

The ESRB is pretty reliable when it comes to revealing ports. The most recent example was the Vita version of the Jak and Daxter Collection. That compilation of three Jak and Daxter games was rated by the ESRB about a month before it was announced by Sony.

A PS Vita release of the Sly Collection would mean that the entire series is available on that handheld. The Vita received Sly Cooper: Thieves In Time, the fourth game, in February.
