The ESRB revealed in March that a remake of Wolfenstein 3D was coming to Xbox 360 and PS3. Activision just confirmed the remake's existence today and announced that it will arrive next week.

Wolfenstein 3D will arrive on Xbox Live Arcade on June 3rd and on PSN on June 4th. The 1992 first-person shooter contains 60 levels and does not come with any multiplayer support. Its price wasn't revealed.

The re-release is timed to promote the upcoming next-gen Wolfenstein. Wolfenstein will arrive on the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC on August 4th.
