MOVIE NEWS
Autonomous Magnus As of today, X-Men has now spawned two spin-offs, but there’s still no solid movement on getting made that third film. The latest spin-off is all about Magneto, who according to Variety will be saddled with his very own prequel. The film will focus on his early years, probably after he bends the fences of Nazi’s and gets conked on the head.
Described as The Pianist meets X-Men, expect protests from thousands of holocaust survivors if they continue to use that rather offensive description. With the movie to be written by Sheldon Turner (The Longest Yard remake) Fox has slated the thing for a May 2006 release date, even though there is officially no one involved in the project and they can’t even confirm or deny whether or not Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellan might in some way be involved… probably because they haven’t talked to them. ![]() Got a comment? .
