With the finale of The Sopranos, Entourage is now the biggest thing going on HBO. MTV caught up with the show’s super-agent to the stars Jeremy Piven and gave him room to drop hints about the future of HBO’s top draw. He says it might include a movie.
Well, at least I think that’s what he said. MTV only quotes him as saying “Ultimately, it would be fun to make a movie,” and “That would be fun — 'Entourage: The Movie' would be really fun.” Somehow, from those two meager quotes, they got this: “the show's success has spawned recent talk of — wait for it, drama fans — a feature film.” There must be more to the story that they didn’t publish, because otherwise that seems like kind of a leap.
Even if there is no Entourage movie, it looks like Piven’s career is really jumping. He says he’s starring in an upcoming Will Ferrell/Adam McKay produced movie called Don Ready. Ferrell would only show up in the film for a cameo, which is some sort of comedy, presumably about a guy named Don. The plot of whatever it is remains tightly under wraps.
