Gal Gadot Had This Awesome Response To Her Boobs Being Too Small For Wonder Woman

There's been a lot of talk about Gal Gadot's body, with regards to how it compares to that of Wonder Woman's, the character she will soon embody in a slew of DC films set to hit theaters over the course of the next four years. That said, Gadot recently shared her thoughts on one of the many concerns fans have expressed about her anatomy, the fact that her boobs have been said to be too small to appropriately replicate her superhero character.

Gal Gadot is not only tough, she also apparently takes criticisms with a grain of salt. Take for example her recent interview with Robot Underdog, in which the actress addressed the topic of fans saying her body doesn't match that of Wonder Woman's:

They said that I was too skinny and my boobs were too small... When I was younger I would take criticism really hard. But now it mostly amused me. The true amazons had one boob so it won’t bother them in their archery. So it’s not going to be like real amazons. We always try to make everyone happy but we can’t.

Gadot went even further to brush off the negative comments, calling them "empty talk," while still acknowledging that part of doing her job is "being exposed" and subsequently occasionally "being under fire (criticism)."

The discussion over whether or not Gadot could physically take on the role of Wonder Woman dates all the way back to the days following her casting, in December of 2013. Moments after it was announced she would embody the character, fans went crazy on the internet asking all sorts of questions about if her hair was the right color or thick enough, how she will look in the suit, if she was the right height, if she was too thin, etc. My guess is, that if she couldn't handle this sort of attention, she probably wouldn't have been offered (or taken) the role. I think, after hearing her thoughts above, we can all agree she's proven it is a non-issue.

To top things off, this isn't the first time Gadot has discussed the issue of her anatomy and how it compares to Wonder Woman's. A few weeks after her being cast she opened up the conversation of the Amazonians and how "historically accurate Amazonian women actually had only one breast." She joked about how right out of the gates, if we're to look at the situation "by the book," it is problematic. Word is she has begun a new diet and exercise routine that should get her into a decent enough shape to make it work. She's also begun a pretty serious training schedule that includes Kung Fu, swords, Jiu Jitsu, kickboxing and more, which should certainly help bulk her up a bit before her big onscreen debut as Wonder Woman.

Gadot can first be seen as the iconic superhero in Zack Snyder's upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, hitting theaters March 25, 2016. She will then reprise the role in her very own superhero film, 2017's Wonder Woman. After that, she will appear in Justice League Part One and Two.
