Peter Pan Will Fly On To Blu-ray For The First Time In February

For most people, Peter Pan is an early Disney animated classic that really needs to be pulled off of the shelf and dusted more often than it needs to be pulled off and watched. However, Peter Pan may well have one of the most loyal niche fanbases ever, and those fans should be pleased to learn Peter Pan will be coming to Blu-ray for the first time on February 5.

The Peter Pan: Diamond Edition Blu-ray’s biggest bonus will probably be it’s digital restoration, which has put the picture into High Definition and has also upgraded the sound quality. Sure, the digital restoration cleans up the classic, hand drawn lines, but I happen to think the overall greater picture quality is worth it. If you disagree, the Peter Pan Blu-ray release may not be for you.

Luckily, if you are planning to spring for an updated copy of the flick, the 3-Disc Blu-ray Combo Pack will also come with a slew of features, as well as a DVD and digital copy of the film. Fans of Peter Pan will also get some never-before-released deleted scenes, as well as a never-before-heard deleted song. You can check out the full list of extras, below.
