See Chris Pratt Charm Kids With His Raptor Training Skills In Adorable Photos

Besides being just about everywhere these days, Chris Pratt is also known to be quite the mensch. The actor recently expanded his current ubiquity to Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital in Baton Rogue, Louisiana, for some delightful interactions with sick children. It was clearly an unforgettable visit, as Pratt was even good enough to recreate one now-iconic Jurassic World scene with some smaller "raptors."

As you can see in this touching scene, Pratt channels some serious raptor-wrangling skills while confronted with a group of pint-sized stand-ins for the film's deadly dinosaurs Delta, Charlie, Echo, and Blue. Just as the "clever girl" calculations of raptors are known to implement, one of them must be sneaking in from an unseen side and it’s going to require some keen peripheral vision to spot that silent slayer.

Of course, Pratt, by now, is more than likely aware of the Internet meme phenomenon inspired from the famous photo of his rough, gruff Jurassic World character, Owen Grady, attempting to mitigate the ill intentions of his killer quartet of trained velociraptors. Referred to as "Prattkeeping," it’s like Planking, except not nearly as annoying, cringe-inducing, or potentially dangerous. However, this more ephemeral performance of the magnificent movie moment for these thrilled children seems to be just one of the more heartfelt and enjoyable ways to show the world a prime example of badass beneficence.

There’s an entire album full of photos documenting Pratt’s vitality inspiring visit, and the images vary from funny to touching to downright bittersweet. It’s not the first time he’s done something like this and the actor generously, and with clear enthusiasm, participated in a number of amazing interactions with the hospital’s tiny residents, signing posters, sitting down to play with them, and even dropped some Jurassic-themed swag.

It’s an inspiring thing to witness Pratt participate in this experience that surely hits close to home. Being a father of a two-year-old son with his wife, actress Anna Faris, these interactions must surely inspire an array of emotions as these children continue the day-to-day-struggle to battle their unfortunate afflictions.

In the meantime, with Pratt’s spectacular display of good-guy-ism setting the context, you can continue to bask in the current continued box office domination of Jurassic World. It’s but the tip of the iceberg as he will soon supplement 2017’s Guardians of the Galaxy 2 with more potentially powerful projects like next year’s Passengers, a space-travelling sci-fi romance with Jennifer Lawrence, and the 2017 remake of The Magnificent Seven
