Trailer: Keanu Reeves Kills Rappers

Keanu Reeves is doing his best Denzel Washington in this, first trailer for his new cops versus gangbangers drama Street Kings. He’s an LAPD cop, a bunch of rappers play the gangbangers. No type casting there.

There’s also nothing particularly new here, it looks like a mix of Training Day and every other LA cop movie you’ve ever seen. Maybe with a little more grit. Check out the trailer below, and let me know what you think. Street Kings opens April 11th.

I'm liking this movie. This can not be compared to Training Day. Keanu just does'nt have Denzel's finese and style. He's more the Ethan Hawk character in Training day. Cedric the Entertainer is like the Modern Day Huggy Bear from Starsky and Hutch. I think this will be a hit in April because there ain't jack else palying at the cinemaplex.
