Watch Kristen Bell Talk To A Sick Little Frozen Fan As Anna

Yeah, yeah we get. You’re sick and tired of Frozen. It’s everywhere, and even two years later it won’t seem to go away. Well, sorry, you’re going to have to deal with this one. It’s just too adorable. Avery Huffman is a young Frozen fan suffering from an inoperable brain tumor. In an effort to keep her spirits up, Kristen Bell recently gave her a call, in character as Princess Anna. If the results don’t make you smile and maybe shed a tear then you have no soul.

Uproxx has the story, which, needless to say, should make everybody a fan of Kristen Bell, even if you’re not a huge fan of the movie. According to Avery’s father Brandon, via the kid’s CaringBridge page, he has a co-worker with a connection to Bell. Through him they were able to get her to leave the voicemail for Avery as her favorite character from her favorite movie. "Anna" name drops the child’s family, as well as all her favorite toys, in order to personalize the message. The call happened earlier this week, but in the last day the video has gone viral.

Thanks to the video Avery’s story has also gone viral. She was diagnosed with Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG) on June 30th. Her CaringBridge page has now seen over 160,000 visits. Avery will get some more Disney fun as her family is planning a trip to Disney World thanks to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Hopefully she’ll get a chance to thank Anna for the phone call.

Bell, who will reprise her role in the Frozen sequel that will hit theaters as soon as Disney can make it happen in order to keep the juggernaut going, now wins the award for being the nicest person of the day. While it only took a moment out of her life, and it wasn’t anything she needed to do, she made a sick child’s day, and that counts for a lot. There are probably far too many Frozen fans in a similar position as Avery. It’s too bad they can’t all get a phone call.

So yeah, Frozen is this massive thing that’s taken over the world. However, today it made a sick kid happy, so we’re all going to give it a pass. The movie is that popular because it’s actually really good after all. And it turns out Kristen Bell is just awesome. You know, it’s been awhile since we’ve actually seen it. Does anybody else want to go build a snowman with us?
