Charlie Sheen Gifts Lindsay Lohan $100K To Help Fix Tax Problems
Charlie Sheen may have had his share of personal problems, but no one has ever accused the actor of being less than generous. He gifted the USO with a million dollars earlier this year, and now, he’s apparently written a check to Lindsay Lohan for one hundred thousand dollars in order to help her get out from underneath the tax problems she’s been having.
Lohan reportedly didn’t pay any taxes to the federal government in 2009 and 2010. That poor decision making put her behind the eight ball to the tune of more than two hundred and thirty thousand dollars. Earlier this year, she and Sheen spent a lot of time together on the set of Scary Movie 5, and during one of these encounters, she reportedly told the former Two And A Half Men star about the IRS problems. According to TMZ, Sheen volunteered to give Lindsay $100K to buy her some breathing room, but she refused.
Last week, however, a check from Charlie showed up at the office of Lohan’s business manager for $100K. It was reportedly applied to her outstanding balance immediately, and if nothing else, represents a massive step in the right direction and a sign of just how kind-hearted Sheen can be in certain situations.
Neither Lindsay nor Charlie has spoken publically about the gift, and given the sensitive nature of the situation, it’s unlikely either will.
