The Rock Has Successful Hernia Surgery, Tweets Awesome Recovery Photo

Dwayne The Rock Johnson might be a franchise-saving actor and a reality competition host, but his first love will always be wrestling. Heís continually returned to the WWE for random events, most recently at Wrestlemania last month. Unfortunately, while that appearance probably seemed like good fun, itís now turned into a far bigger deal.
According to E! Online, the Rock had an emergency hernia operation last night to deal with an injury he suffered wrestling (and losing to) John Cena. The medical procedure caused him to miss the Los Angeles premiere of his new film Pain & Gain, but with some rest, his doctors think heíll be fine and with less time wrestling, his director thinks heíll be fine too.
Hereís what Michael Bay, had to sayÖ
"He was pushing it too hard. [ He] needs to grow up and stop wrestling 300-pound men."
The Rock has proven heís a badass numerous times, both inside and outside the squared circle. He has every right to walk away from the world of wrestling now if he so chooses. If he does, heíll definitely go down as one of the greatest who ever laced up the boots. That being said, he may well follow his heart back into the ring again sometime in the future.
Regardless, Pop Blendís sincerest thoughts go out to the Rock as he recovers. This is normally the part of the article where weíd wish him luck in getting back on his feet quickly, but letís face it, we all know something like emergency hernia surgery isnít going to keep the Rock down.
