Funny or Die, the web pet project of Adam McKay and Will Ferrell’s Gary Sanchez Productions, was a natural progression from their sketch-comedy roots. However, what began as a place to showcase viral video antics quickly became a sandbox for a ton of different comedians and actors to test their chops. The latest playlist is a glorious spoof on 80s television and features some totally rad forgotten stars. So, what’s on the Funny or Die 1986 line-up?
After one of the quietest debut seasons, Happy Endings still somehow ended up with a second and good thing too, because now it seems like the sitcom is on quite a roll. ABC made the right choice staying with the young and promising show and just last week gave it a full sophomore season, which means plenty of time to hang out in Chicago with the funny six-some. The good news continues as ABC has also lined up an awesome guest star to play a love interest for one lucky member of the group.
By far the best offering, however, is a reunion of sorts for the beloved Peanuts gang. They've grown up and filled out, but they're still giving Charlie Brown a hard time. And it turns out, you can only pull that fucking football trick so many times before a person snaps.
Every now and then it's important to take a break from the intense competition of the TV news reporting world and take a step back to just enjoy a funny, television related video.
