Warner Bros. Television has announced their plans for Comic-Con in San Diego later this month. That includes the traditional Wednesday pilot screenings for preview night, as well as a bevy of panels for their new and popular TV series during the convention.
MTV’s Teen Wolf is currently airing the first half of its third season on the cable network. New episodes are currently set to run through August, but Season 3 has an extended episode order and MTV has plans to air the second half of the season this winter. Thanks to this week’s information-filled Comic Con panel, we now know exactly when Teen Wolf is scheduled to return to MTV in 2014. The show will premiere the latter half of Season 3 on Monday, January 4, 2014.
Names involved with each of the above shows will be in attendence, including Spader, but also Megan Boone, Hugh Dancy, David Giuntoli, Silas Weir Mitchell, and a star-studded Community panel featuring Gillian Jacobs, Danny Pudi, Yvette Nicole Brown, Alison Brie, Ken Jeong, and Dan Harmon, who recently returned to the series as showrunner. SNL and soon-to-be late night host Seth Meyers is also set to appear at the Hulu panel
The Comic Con news that was once trickling in now seems to be trickling a bit faster. It's not quite a flood yet, and we might not expect it to be until SDCC announces each days full line-up of panels and those of us planning to attend begin the nerve-racking process of trying to figure out how we can attend all of the panels we want to attend, which - for any fan obsessed with more than one comic, TV show or movie franchise - is virtually impossible...
We have until January to wait for Starz's new drama series Black Sails to make its debut, and it's just as well. With no Spartacus to look forward to anymore, Michael Bay's new pirate drama may do the trick in quenching our appetites for swords and sea, if not sand. Those who are attending Comic Con in San Diego this July won't have to wait until January to see the Black Sails series premiere if they attend the planned screening for the series.
Comic Con is a little over a month away, which means we're at the point where we should start hearing confirmation on what TV shows will be showcased at the convention. The list for 20th Century Fox TV's series has arrived online and indicates that a number of new series will be featured with panels, as well as How I Met Your Mother, which will make its Comic Con debut in San Diego to promote its final season.
Given all that’s gone down in True Blood’s four plus completed seasons, it takes a lot to shock fans and put them on the edge of their seats, but that’s exactly what happened a few minutes ago at the official Comic Con Panel. As the event was about to begin, creator Alan Ball and company dropped a surprise trailer outlining the rest of season five, and it is everything you’d expect and more.
In addition to the previously announced Mulan, Sleeping Beauty and Dracula, Once Upon A Time will also begin featuring my favorite Disney villain of all-time Captain Hook in coming episodes. The terrifying and awesome addition was teased throughout the panel and finally confirmed in a surprise clip played at the end.
For all of those that watched the last season finale of Breaking Bad all the way back in October 2011, I have some very good news: your wait is almost over. This Sunday, July 15th, marks the season five premiere of the show on AMC and we couldn’t be more excited. What will happen with Walt and Jesse’s business? Is Hank going to catch up with them? Where does everything go from here? Hopefully we’ll get a hint of that during today’s Comic Con panel.
Smallville was one of the most successful shows in the history of the CW. The series, which chronicled the early years of Superman and Clark Kent’s transformation into a superhero, ran for an impressive 10 years and had a large, devoted fan base that was always glued to the screen. Unfortunately for Man of Steel fans the show ended its run last year, but for DC Comics fans who want to see another comic book character on the small screen your wait is almost over.
In one of the most emotion moments I'd ever seen shared with some 5,000 people, Joss Whedon held back tears trying to come up with something to say when he was asked how he felt about fandom. As the camera pushed in and the director of the highest grossing movie of the year choked up, someone yelled "We Love You" and the fans slowly built a supportive cheer that grew into a standing ovation.
What's likely to be one of the most anticipated panels here at Comic Con is finally upon us. This afternoon, here in Hall H, the cast of AMC's The Walking Dead will take the stage for a panel to discuss the third season of the zombie drama based on Robert Kirkman's popular comic book series. We'll be live-blogging the panel, which promises a Q&A and a sneak preview of Season 3.
Hello Browncoats. You know why we're here. It's the Comic Con 10th Anniversary Firefly Reunion with Joss Whedon, Nathan Fillion, Adam Baldwin, Alan Tudyk, Sean Maher, and Summer Glau. Will there be news now that Joss Whedon has the power of The Avengers behind him? Serenity 2? New Comics? SOMETHING? Let's find out!
The Legend of Korra is Nickelodeon's highest rated show, pulling in a 3.8 on average per episode and frequently out-scoring Mad Men in the ratings. With rumors of an additional 26 episodes getting picked up, everyone wants to know what this animated sequel-series to Avatar: The Last Airbender has up it's sleeve.
It's the community San Diego Comic Con 2012 panel live blog. Season 4! There's no Dan Harmon and the cast has been shoved off to Fridays under the all seeing eyes of new showrunners David Guarascio and Moses Port, and we're here in Ballroom 20 mostly to see what they have to say about how one of our favorite shows and how they're going to keep it awesome.
