The feeds came back on after Battle of the Block with everyone seeming eager for rest and/or a shower. Something involving hay? Not really sure what the competition was, but Jackie and James won it, ensuring their safety for the week. It seemed like Jason may be Shelli's preferred target, but it's a lot less clear this time around, as opposed to her last Head of Household, when she was very specifically targeting Da'Vonne. In this case, I'm going to guess that a final decision on who should go will be made when the Veto is won and they know what their options are. There's already been a conversation tonight, post-BOTB (between Clay, Shelli and James) about potentially backdooring Audrey if the opportunity arises.

Liz spent most of this week in the house and was finally called into the diary room today where she and Julia pulled their latest switcheroo. She was caught up on the major happenings since her last turn in the house, and she got to read the Head of Household letter.

There's been a lot of chatter about who's behind the fourth vote to evict James on Thursday night. No one seems to suspect it might be Liz, and I haven't seen anything on the feeds that explains why Liz cast that vote. Was it a mistake? Is she up to something? Julia did address the subject directly when it came up during her catch-up session with Austin today. She acted like she had no idea who cast the pinky vote. Whether or not that's true -- it's entirely possible Liz didn't mention it to Julia when they were switching -- remains to be seen. Hopefully Sunday night's episode will explain that situation, because it seems really odd. Liz and Julia's alliance has essentially formed a wall around them to keep them safe, ideally through the fifth eviction so that Julia can come into the house. It would be a bold move on Liz's part to defy their plan and vote to save Jeff.

As for the nominations, I hate that Johnny Mac and Jason are nominated next to one another. Jason is arguably the funniest and most entertaining houseguest on the feeds, and Johnny Mac is winning the diary room this season. It's too soon for either of them to be done with Big Brother for the season, and I think both of them need a turn as Head of Household, if only because I'd love to see how they handled it. Hopefully one wins the Veto or is taken off, and someone else gets backdoored.

So far, there are no Have Nots for the week, and we still don't know what the big twist-of-the-week will be. But there was talk about the houseguests -- or some of the houseguest? -- getting pagers. Presumably something to do with the the 90s theme.
