Marvel's Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. Teases A Potential Trainwreck In 'T.R.A.C.K.S.'

It’s been a tiny bit of a wait for fans of ABC’s Marvel studios series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., to return, but a clip from the February 4th episode has arrived online and things are getting a bit Wild West-esque in Italy. The clip from the episode, titled “T.R.A.C.K.S.” (always with the punctuation on this show) shows there’s plenty of action en route, thanks to a wild train ride in Italy that could potentially derail (hey, it’s Friday) Agent Coulson and Company. There are accents, kicking, punching, and a nice little group of ominous looking dudes in suits, so, it’s a fairly well-engineered return for the series.

What makes it all the more ominous is the description the network provided for the episode. We’ve copied it below in full:

“T.R.A.C.K.S.:” – Hot on the trail of the Clairvoyant, Coulson and his team board a mystery train that seems to be headed for certain death, on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Tuesday, February 4 (8:00-9:01 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.Guest starring are David Conrad as Ian Quinn, Carlo Rota as Luca Russo, T.J. Ramini as Mancini, Ludwig Manukian as the Conductor, Emily Baldoni as Sofia, and a special cameo appearance by Stan Lee.

That’s right! Esteemed comic book icon Stan Lee will be making his requisite cameo appearance in this episode, getting it out of the way before a slew of guest stars and new characters arrive on the scene. That includes Mike Peterson (J. August Richards) becoming the cyborg otherwise known as Deathlok, as well as two Thor characters: Jaimie Alexander Lady Sif (played by Jaimie Alexander) who’s come to earth to hunt down Asgard villainess Lorelei, as portrayed by Smallville actress Elena Satine. And that’s before Bill Paxton’s Agent Ward shows up for his month-long arc on the series.

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will return to ABC on Tuesday, February 4th at 8PM.
