Activision Appoints Beenox As Top Draw Developer For New Spider-Man Games

Activision has been cleaning house of development studios under their wing to cut costs, increase revenue and amp up production of rinsed and recycled franchises. The latest move from the gaming industry’s big bad publisher sees the head honchos appointing Beenox Studios in the number one spot for developing Spider-Man games.

Dee Brown, Studio Head, Beenox commented in the press release, saying…

“We are thrilled with this opportunity to continue our close, collaborative relationship with Activision, Marvel and everyone’s friendly, neighborhood hero, Spider-Man,” “Being able to map out Spider-Man’s interactive future gives us the creative freedom to really craft the best gaming experience for the fans.”

Beenox is the same group of talented minds that reinvigorated the Spidey gaming franchise under the Activision license with Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions. And now they’ll continue to be the primary developer on all upcoming new-gen Spider-Man games coming out of Activision’s publishing studios.
