It’s obviously a last ditch effort by Blockbuster to pick up movie stragglers and gamers who haven’t already committed themselves to Hulu, Netflix, Redbox, Gamefly or torrents. Still, free movie and game rentals for a month is a pretty big deal especially heading into November where some of the biggest titles of the year are expected to launch.
Batman: Arkham City features the return of the Dark Knight as he aims to uncover a nefarious plot in the city overrun with criminals, murderers, thieves and super-villains. This time he gets a little help from Catwoman, as the main story plot will be broken down into parts, with one part featuring Batman and the other part featuring Catwoman.
