Curious how they managed to get the upcoming Batman: Arkham Asylum a Teen rating from the ESRB? Well, it seems the Dark Knight won't be killing anyone in the game.

"Players assume the role of Batman as he fights (never kills) his way through a psychiatric hospital populated by psychopathic criminals and humans infected with a toxic virus," reads the ESRB description of the game. He'll still be beating the crap out of these criminals, though; the description goes on to mention that he'll use martial arts as well as "spikes, light beams, and other gadgets".

Even if Batman doesn't end any lives, there's plenty of other adult content in the game. You'll come across plenty of dead bodies and people in torture devices throughout the asylum. In addition, the game features two female characters that "wear provocative outfits that expose deep cleavage and/or partial buttocks", one of whom "moans suggestively when she is in peril." There's some potty language too - "bitch, "damn," and "pissed." In other words, even though Arkham's not a Mature game, that doesn't mean your seven year old nephew should get his little mitts on it.

Batman: Arkham Asylum will be released this summer for the Xbox 360, PS3, PC.
