Call Of Duty: Black Ops Rezurrection Hits Xbox Live

Today Call of Duty: Black Ops heads to outer space. Treyarch has released the Rezurrection Pack through Xbox Live. Rezurrection is a batch of downloadable content featuring an all-new zombie co-op level on the moon.

In Moon, players must battle waves of zombies that have overrun a lunar base. Fortunately they'll have futuristic weapons and items to assist them in the battle. Moon is just one of five maps included in Rezurrection. The other four - Nacht der Üntoten, Verrückt, Shi No Numa, and Der Riese - are remastered versions of the Call of Duty: World at War zombie maps.

The World at War maps were previously exclusive to owners of the Prestige or Hardened Editions of Black Ops. If you purchased either of those collector's editions, you'll get Moon for free. Otherwise, you'll need to pay 1200 MS Points ($15) for the content. Either way, Activision will throw in a free Zombies soundtrack with three exclusive tracks as well as a Moon theme.

Treyarch will be holding a double XP weekend but not just yet. It will run from September 2nd to September 5th. They're holding off on the double experience event until then so it coincides with the Call of Duty XP convention, which occurs on September 2nd and 3rd.
