Subscribe To Glee's Ryan Murphy Denies Rumors About Justin Bieber Tribute Episode Updates
To those of you who watch Glee, there’s an update on the Justin Bieber episode that you’ll either love or hate, depending on how you feel about Justin Bieber.

Earlier reports were that Glee would be doing a Bieber-themed episode similar to the tribute episodes done for Madonna and Britney Spears. According to Entertainment Weekly, that’s not the case. They checked in with Glee showrunner Ryan Murphy, who denied the rumor, stating that they reserve the tribute episodes for artists with big catalogs.

Murphy went on to say that a Justin Bieber song would be performed (spoiler alert!) by Sam (Chord Overstreet’s character) in Episode 13. He also mentioned that Rachel and Mercedes will be singing a song from Rent. EW's Henry Goldblatt requests “Take Me or Leave Me," which would be somewhat fitting as it was originally performed by Idina Menzel (who guest starred as Rachel's bio-mom in previous episodes) in the Broadway production.
