Traveller's Tales is developing another Lego game for the Wii U. Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes, which debuted on a slew of consoles and handhelds in June 2012, will be making its way to the Wii U in Spring.
Lego Batman 2 allows players to put on the cowl and cape of the Dark Knight. They'll explore an open-world Gotham City and defend it from supervillains including The Joker and The Penguin. Batman will be assisted in his mission by Superman, Robin, and other DC heroes.
The Wii U addition includes exclusive features for that system's GamePad. The controller's touchscreen can be used as a map or as a means to switch characters. The GamePad also allows for local co-op with no split-screen, with one player watching the TV and one player watching the touchscreen.
The box art for the Wii U version is below.
