Mortal Kombat Vs. DC Universe Super Moves Trailer And Screencaps

A new trailer has surfaced for the fall’s prime fighting game. It’s amazing that only one good fighting game can surface per-season (i.e., Soul Calibur IV released earlier in the summer). And being that MK vs DC is the top of the crop 3D fighter for this autumn, means that gamers need to get geeked over some super-moves, special combos, and extra attacks.

The new Pro Move system – the new combo-supers that are featured in the trailer – is an extension of the normal Super Move system. Players can inflict more damage, execute extended combos and pretty much beat the competition into a state of pwnage. Yes, pwnage. The super moves are standard-fare from previous Mortal Kombat games, but the pro moves are kind of cool, if not infinitely cheap. I can definitely see gamers getting angry at pro-players who keep linking and re-linking combos. It’s all explained in the video. I guess the breaker system works as a balance to this. But I just hope there’s a limit to how many grab moves players can re-link into other combos.

Mortal Kombat Vs. DC Universe is due out on November 16th for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 for the suggested retail price of $59.99.
