Watch GTA 5 Player Rob Convenience Store With Snowball

You're low on ammo. You're strapped for cash. You need to get some dough and you don't know how. Well, there's a non-violent way to help make some quick cash without wasting a bullet or even using a gun. Watch how this player manages to rob a convenience store without using any violence at all.

Destructoid spotted the 45 second GTA V video and shared it with the gaming world. The original video comes from Harry – PSN. The video has a lot of positive ratings despite its short length and someone context-less nature.

The only thing we know is that the snowball robber is armed and dangerous and by aiming near the store clerk, the mere threat of being hit with a snowball causes the clerk to take flight and flee into the back of the store.

From here the robbery progresses in a rather tame manner, with the thief picking up some small amounts of loot from the register before bolting out the door while the police sirens echo throughout the sky-touching structures within the concrete jungle.

The robber hops on his motorcycle and rides up into an alley to escape the pursuing police. It's all rather quick and tame. I do imagine that it's probably fun for a half hour or so but I also imagine that it would get boring shortly thereafter.

No worries, though. Rockstar is finally prepping to launch the long awaited online heists. GTA V die-hards have been waiting and clamoring for the online heists in GTA Online ever since it was originally announced back in 2013.

The heists will center around four players planning out and attempting to rob various locations in multi-stage tiers. There are, of course, rules in place to prevent players from manipulating the heist missions to score quick cash, so it's one of those things where it will take a lot of time, cooperation and dedication to complete and profit from.

I do wonder how well the income from the heists from GTA Online will compare to some of the more player-made heists, sort of like the ones staged by Achievement Hunters? If they pay out the same then that would seem kind of wasteful. If they pay out a lot more then that could be a real worthwhile venture.

Anyway, robbing stores with a handful of snow is definitely a novel way to gain some heat and make some cash. It's also an inexpensive way of threatening store owners without spending a dime on ammo or weapons. I'm curious if we'll see this tactic used more often now that this video is gaining some traction?

Grand Theft Auto V is available right now for the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3 and PS4. The PC version is coming soon but you won't be able to buy it from retail stores like Target or Kmart if you live in Australia.
