Weekly Recap Oct 9th: Captain America Game, X-Men Destiny, Gears 3 Beta

This week played host to the New York Comic-Con, with a large assortment of announcements, media assets and generally gaming news filling out the week. Sega announced that in connection with the new movie due out next year, a Captain America game is on the way set during the World War II era. Marvel wasn’t done with superhero games for the week, though, as a new X-Men game is on the way as well. And despite Gears of War 3 getting delayed until fall of next year, Epic let loose some positive news about the status of the game, even going as far as letting the gaming community know that a playable beta will be arriving soon.
