Will Bryce Dallas Howard Have Another Epic Heels Scene In Jurassic World 2

Jurassic World was one of the biggest movies to ever come along. It set a number of box office records, even if it was eventually unseated later the same year by Star Wars: The Force Awakens. It was the return of a major franchise, which had previously set the bar for quality CGI effects. It was more evidence that Chris Pratt is now a major Hollywood action star. It was one of the most talked about movies of the year. Yet somehow, one of the items that people are still talking about are Bryce Dallas Howard’s shoes.
Howard’s character of Claire was the operations manager of Jurassic World, and as such she spent the movie dressed more for a corporate work environment than for running from dinosaurs in the jungle. This made her one of the more impressive characters in the film, thanks to her ability to traverse the environment in high heels. Bryce Dallas Howard was recently asked by E! if the heels would be making a return with her in the inevitable sequel. The actress says no, because Claire doesn’t need them anymore.
Claire is a different person now. The person she is at the end of the movie is not the person she was in the beginning. Her armor of sorts was that white, pristine outfit with heels in a very corporate environment and stuff, and the chick at the end… totally different. So yeah… it better not be heels.
So if you were, by chance, hoping to see Bryce Dallas Howard running away from an even bigger dinosaur while wearing heels, apparently you can write that off. It certainly makes sense. We’re going to take a wild stab and guess that the park will be closed, permanently, following the events of Jurassic World so she probably doesn’t need to wear heels while in close proximity to giant, man-eating lizards. We would guess she either wears her heels at a new job as far away from there as she can possibly get or that she wears running shoes with pants suits, just in case.
While we don’t know much about the plans for Jurassic World 2, the implication is that dinosaur DNA is truly going global. Colin Trevorrow has talked about the idea of multiple scientific companies getting their hands on the dino-producing technology and all of them making dinosaurs, potentially for different purposes. What happens when everybody can make their own dinosaur?
Jurassic World 2 already has a release date of June 22, 2018, so we still have a couple years before we’ll see where the franchise is headed. Both Bryce Dallas Howard and Chris Pratt will be back. The heels will not be back.
