Jennifer Lawrence is riding high today after her Best Actress Oscar nomination for Silver Linings Playbook, but for one very large group of her fans, her biggest moment will be coming later this year, when she reprises her role as Katniss Everdeen for the hotly anticipated sequel The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. The movie is still in production in Atlanta, but in the last few days we've been getting our first looks at the film-- and now a whole new batch of images has debuted to show off even more.

The images come from this week's issue of Entertainment Weekly, which posted three of the new stills online (two more can be found at JenLaw Fans). Below you can see three of them, including our first look at Philip Seymour Hoffman in character as Head Gamesmaker Plutarch Heavensbee, and the fancy clothes that Katniss and Peeta wear during their victory tour.

At EW they've included some snippets from the article, including Lawrence's thoughts on Katniss's tough veneer and why she finds it so hard to own up to her feelings for both Gale and Peeta:

''These are kids growing up in war who physically, emotionally can't love somebody. Katniss thinks she can't have a crush on a boy because she's worried about survival every single day. And she can't be a normal 16-year-old meeting her friend out in the woods and practicing kissing because that's not the world that they live in.''

That reference to being out in the world and practicing kissing will be very familiar to fans of the book-- Katniss and Gale share one very short romantic moment, but it happens before the second book begins, and I"m sure plenty of fans will be wondering if we'll get to see it in more detail. Odds are, though, they'll be saving the reveal big moment for the movie itself, which comes to theaters November 22 this year.
