Dark Water kind of reminds me of the days where Hollywood ran out of natural weather phenomenon to throw at their actors and resorted to Hard Rain. Not that Dark Water shares anything in common with Hard Rain film, but still, you have to admit the names are kind of similar.
Instead of Christian Slater in a heist story, Dark Water brings you Jennifer Connolly who is haunted in Japanese film style by “dark water”. Doesn’t sound very haunting does it? I mean, hard rain (not the movie) has brought flooding to my basement lately, but you don’t hear me complaining that my house is haunted. Maybe the water that comes into my basement isn’t dark enough.
Regardless, what will probably be the last trailer for Dark Water (the movie opens July 8th) has come in the form of an internet exclusive. Click below to watch scarey water frighten Jennifer Connolly.
