Goodbye Bruno Kirby

It's always sad when an elders statesman of the cinema passes on. Don Knotts was a tough blow. But nothing is more shocking than when a great actor goes before his time. This week, we lost the great Bruno Kirby. If you don't know who he is, it's only because he was that good.

Recently he popped up on "Entourage", and the guy didn't look good. There's a reason for that. He was battling Leukemia. Monday he lost that battle.

Character actors don't often enough get the respect or credit they deserve. Perhaps in death Bruno Kirby can finally get it.
