He's at it again! Since he had the script in hand, director Bryan Singer has been tweeting about the evolution of X-Men: Days of Future Past. So far, we've seen a shot of Beast and Wolverine, Professor X in groovy '70s gear and regrettable '70s hair, and the return of Kitty Pryde! As evident above, Singer's latest share is a pic of Hunger Games' star Jennifer Lawrence back in her blue bodysuit to reprise the role of Mystique.

The funny thing is that as much as Singer has been revealing on Twitter, we can hardly accuse him of over sharing. The images so far have been fun to look at, but reveal little in the way of surprises. The film's title alone teased that this latest entry in the X-Men franchise would interweave characters past and present, intermingling cast members from X-Men, X2, and X-Men: The Last Stand with the prequel crew of X-Men: First Class. Days of Future Past is a storyline from Marvel Comics that features a time-traveling Kitty Pryde, who warns X-Men of the past of a catastrophic future that must be prevented at all cost!

This means the cast list for the movie adaptation of X-Men: Days of Future Past's reads like a fanboy wishlist, boasting Patrick Stewart and James McAvoy as Professor X, Michael Fassbender and Ian McKellan as Magneto, Anna Paquin as Rogue, Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique, Ellen Page as Kitty Pryde, and Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. Plus there's the tantalizing additions of The Intouchables' Omar Sy and Game of Throne's Peter Dinklage in purposely withheld roles!

That's right, despite all his tweets, Singer is working the mystery box. Will it pay off? We'll find out when X-Men: Days of Future Past opens July 18th, 2014.
