Netflix is making its way to a third console. The Wii will be able to access the streaming video service starting this spring.
Wii owners with an Internet connection and a $9-a-month Netflix subscription will be able to access a host of movies and televisions shows through their console. As with the PS3's service, though, they'll need a free software disc from Netflix in the disc tray to watch the videos. You can sign up to reserve this disc here. Netflix will mail it out to you via first-class mail.
One shortcoming of the Wii's Netflix service is that the console can't play high-def video. Analysts are adamant that Nintendo will soon announce an HD Wii soon, though.
