These days no one seems afraid of unnecessary sequels, but there are some movies that no one ever thought we'd see continued. Big Momma's House got a sequel a few years ago for no apparent reason, and now some genius somewhere thinks a third movie is exactly what we need.
IESB.net recently caught up with producer David Friendly, who's also behind the upcoming Soul Men, and he said Big Momma's House 3 was in the scriptwriting stage at he moment. He's hoping the movie will be ready for a release next year. Really the only good thing I can think of that would come out of this would be more scenes from Honky Grandma Be Trippin' on 30 Rock. Otherwise, I'd rather Martin Lawrence and his fat suit stay in the past where they belong.
