In the Akiva Schaffer-directed Neighborhood Watch, a group of men decide to form a committee that they say is for protecting the neighborhood, but is really an excuse for them to get away from their families. Plenty of adult male actors, including Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn and Jonah Hill, have already signed on, but now there's a question mark: who will the 23-year-old Nicholas Braun be playing?

Variety reports that the young actor, who was recently seen in Kevin Smith's Red State and has signed on for Smith's Hit Somebody, has officially joined the Fox comedy, though it doesn't mention what role he will be playing. The project was originally set up as a project for Wedding Crasher's director David Dobkin and Will Ferrell, but was recently rewritten by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg. Rosemarie DeWitt is also attached to film and will play Ben Stiller's wife, while it was recently reported that Chris Tucker is circling a role in the project as well.

Braun has actually been doing quite well for himself in 2011. In addition to the Kevin Smith movies, he's set to play alongside Gary Cole, Megan Mullally and Nick Offerman in Gay Dude and is playing Derek in Stephen Chbosky's The Perks of Being A Wallflower. But who will Braun play in Neighborhood Watch? Will he be one of the character's sons or just a random kid on the block? Is he involved in the secret organization or is he on the outside. Just a guess, but considering that he's 6'4" and Vince Vaughn is 6'5", I wouldn't be surprised if their characters are somehow related.
