Pussycat Dolls: The Movie

The Pussycat Dolls will attempt to follow in the footsteps of The Spice Girls, by making their own movie. UK tabloid Daily Star claims the group is currently looking through scripts, to select the right vehicle for their limited vocal talents and excessive ass shaking.

Of course, the difference between the Spice Girls and the Pussycat Dolls is that the Spice Girls could sing at least a little, and they had permanent, identifiable members. Pussycat Dolls is really just a name slapped on an ever shifting group of random hotties trucked in to show as much skin as possible for a year or two before being replaced by the next batch of reality show contestants. I have no idea how you make a movie out of that, but the word is that they’re planning a semi-autobiographical film about the group’s rise to fame. Wouldn’t it be easier just to show a few episodes of their crummy reality show back to back?

Along the way they say they want the film to “inspire fans and give a positive message to girls.” Do they even know they’re in the Pussycat Dolls? Positive message? The group is barely better than a low-rent burlesque show, what sort of positive message could the possibly deliver? Don’t worry girls, you don’t have to be talented as long as you have big implants.
