Subscribe To See The Justice League United In A Rowdy Picture From The Batman V Superman Red Carpet Updates
On top of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice starring the two eponymous heroes and giving Wonder Woman a good amount to do, there are also cameos from Aquaman, The Flash and Cyborg, i.e. the rest of the Justice League (minus Green Lantern, who’s being saved for later). So naturally, the actors playing these titans decided to hang out for a bit at the red carpet premiere of the new movie Dawn of Justice this weekend, and during that, they gathered together for a rowdy picture with two other key DCEU creative talent.
Looking jazzed to be with his future Justice League: Part One co-stars, Jason Momoa posted this snapshot on his Instagram account of him with (from left to right) Ben Affleck (Batman), Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), Henry Cavill (Superman), director Zack Snyder, Ezra Miller (The Flash), producer Deborah Snyder and Ray Fisher (Cyborg). It may not be the same as seeing them all in costume together, but at least we can tell they’re having a good time with each other. Although, Affleck looks like he’s trying to freak out the photographer with one of those classic Bat-stares.
Despite all these actors appearing in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, the closest the public has seen of all these heroes together is that shot of Superman, Wonder Woman and Batman facing down Doomsday from the December trailer. Concept art of the six Justice Leaguers was released back in January, and with production on their first adventure beginning next month, it’s a good bet that Warner Bros will release a team shot before the year is up. Along with the six heroes, Justice League: Part One will also feature Amber Heard as Mera and J.K. Simmons as Commissioner James Gordon.
No plot details have been released about how the DCEU Justice League (based on the New 52 lineup) will officially band together, though villains like Brainiac and Darkseid are rumored as the global threat they have to fight. As Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will show, most of these heroes have already been around for a while, so at least they’ll have a lot of superhero experience to fall back on. After decades of this team’s adventures in the comic books, animated series and video games, many fans are looking forward to them finally getting their live action due on the silver screen, and it looks like the above actors are going to have a fun time working together.
All the Justice League members will appear in some form or fashion when Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters this weekend, but fans will have to wait until Justice League: Part One arrives on November 17, 2017 for the team to officially form. The heroes will then reunite on June 14, 2019 for Justice League: Part Two.
