Star Wars Super Fan Uses Common Sense And Leaked Spoilers To Create Outline Of Force Awakens

We’re just going to start this one out with a big ol’ SPOILER WARNING for Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Granted, what follows is all speculation and hearsay based on rumors and innuendo, but there’s a chance some of it is real and hence, potential SPOILERS abound beyond this point.

Here’s the deal: one hardcore Star Wars fan from Making Star Wars took all the rumors and leaks and spoilers that have been floating around and, using that as a road map, along with a dose of common sense, has compiled a possible outline of The Force Awakens. We’ll have no idea if it’s accurate or not until the movie opens in December, but this certainly is detailed. If you’re not spoiler-phobic, click HERE to read the whole thing, but another warning, we’re going to talk highlights below. And also, make sure to take anything you read with a big grain of salt.

If you’ve been following the steady stream of spoilers, leaks, rumors, reports, and whatnot, nothing that you read here is going to come as too much of a surprise, but strung together like this it gives you a complete picture of what The Force Awakens may very well look like.

Like many of the rumors we’ve heard, this starts with a blue lightsaber tumbling towards the surface of the desert planet that we now know is called Jakku. What follows actually sounds fairly reminiscent of the early going of A New Hope. A mysterious figure finds the Jedi weapon and it winds up in the hands of the Vicar (Max Von Sydow), who contacts the Resistance (the current form of the Rebel Alliance), and pilot Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac) shows up to retrieve the item. But the First Order (the new Empire) shows up, he puts the lightsaber in the new droid BB-8, and sends the little guy on its way before engaging the baddies to buy the droid some time.

That’s the kick off. From there we meet stromtrooper Finn (John Boyega), see the incident that causes him to go AWOL (a senseless massacre), encounters the cold-blooded killer known as Kylo Ren (Adam Driver), the junk scavenger Rey (Daisy Ridley), and many more, including some familiar faces. What follows is an epic saga that, at least in this incarnation, sounds and feels very much like a Star Wars movie. Even though you know how specious this is, it’s easy to imagine it as the real plot.

Again, this is all based on the unconfirmed rumors that have made the rounds. The fan essentially places them in an order that makes sense and, using some conjecture and knowledge of these movies to link them together, creates a potential narrative. If spoilers don’t bother you, it really an interesting read, especially if you approach it as a possible story, not as biblical truth. Like I said, it definitely has the swashbuckling feel of a Star Wars movie, though whether that’s because as huge Star Wars fan wrote this or because it’s the real story remains to be seen.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens everywhere on December 18, and odds are that we won’t know whether or not any of this is real until then.
